Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Harm Enterprises (“Harm Enterprises,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a solar-project consulting practice based in Alameda, California, collects, uses, and protects information in connection with this website and our SMS/text-messaging program. Questions: inquiries@harm.org.
Information we collect
- Contact details you provide — such as your name, email address, and phone number when you contact us or request our services.
- SMS messaging data — if you opt in to text with us: your mobile phone number, the content of the messages you send to and receive from us, and message metadata (timestamps and delivery status).
- Limited technical logs — minimal server logs needed to operate and secure the site.
How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and provide consulting services.
- For people who opt in, to operate our SMS messaging program — appointment scheduling, project updates, reminders, notifications, and customer-service replies you have requested.
- To maintain the security and integrity of our systems and comply with law.
SMS Program and Opt-In
You may choose to receive SMS messages from Harm Enterprises regarding scheduling, reminders, project updates, operational notifications, and replies to your requests.
You opt in by either:
- Sending the first text message to a Harm Enterprises business number; or
- Providing your mobile number directly to Harm Enterprises and explicitly requesting to receive SMS messages during a consulting engagement. Harm Enterprises does not send SMS messages unless the recipient has first requested them.
By opting in, you agree to receive SMS messages from Harm Enterprises. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only with service providers (such as our messaging provider) as needed to deliver the services, or where required by law.
